Before leaving for Paris for the holidays, I want to wish you the most wonderful Christmas!
For many of us, this year has been a trying one. I started 2021 convinced that now that we had a vaccine, the pandemic was almost over. Well, this virulent COVID gnome is determined to show us that it is tougher than we thought. Some days it feels like we’re stuck in a loop, like Bill Murray in “Groundhog Day”, not knowing how long the cycle will keep on repeating itself. And yet…
In every moment, no matter how boring or stressful it may be, we have the freedom to decide to focus on the richness in front of us. It can be a good cup of coffee, like the one on the table next to my laptop, the snow outside, the affectionate glance of someone you love, or a tune that warms your heart. I am fortunate to have all of this around me. And today I’d like to share some of it with you.
Don’t worry, I have no intention of sending you my boyfriend carrying a cup of cold coffee and a pile of melted snow. I can’t, I don’t have your address. No, instead I have compiled for you some of my favorite jazz tunes. I love listening to this music when I am working. It inspires me, it makes me feel lighter and helps me to focus.
